Check out the stats. 3 in a row. A hat trick. I’m like a two-wheeled Ian Wright. I mean on a bike, not in a wheelchair.

Today was a gray Monday road ride. I went from work and headed out from Sheffield, through the traffic, up to a few of the quiet roads at the edge of the peak. The picture below pretty much sums it all up.

Some of today’s grate scenery

It was tough to get going. Once I did though, it was marginally less tough. With each pedal stroke it got easier. Ultimately, the last pedal stroke was the easiest.

Looking down on Sheffield.

It was a good feeling to get out in the last hour of sunlight though. Sneaking in a short ride into a ‘normal’ day always feels like a little victory.

On to day 4. Nearly time for some Reg!
